Accessibility

Calculators should work
beyond one way of browsing.

CalcSpan uses WCAG 2.2 Level AA as a design target, not as a certification claim.

Current approach

The interface is designed around semantic headings, labelled form fields, keyboard-operable controls, visible focus, text alternatives for meaningful images, responsive layouts, reduced-motion preferences and status messages that can be announced by assistive technology.

Conformance status

CalcSpan has not claimed or received independent accessibility certification, and this page does not assert full conformance. The site contains many generated calculator variations, so an issue may remain even when shared components have been checked.

Third-party content

The calculator-request page uses Cloudflare Turnstile for abuse prevention, and links may open services outside CalcSpan. Those interfaces are controlled by their providers. If a third-party step blocks you, email the request or feedback directly instead.

Report a barrier

Email [email protected] with “Accessibility feedback” in the subject. Include the page address, what you were trying to do, the problem, and—if you are comfortable sharing it—your browser, operating system and assistive technology. Do not include sensitive calculator inputs or results.

The project operator will review actionable reports but does not promise a fixed response or remediation time. If email itself is inaccessible, no alternative phone or postal channel is currently published; that is a known contact limitation.

Assessment

Accessibility should be checked whenever shared navigation, forms, dialogs or result interactions change. Automated checks can catch some defects, but keyboard and assistive-technology review are also needed. The “last reviewed” date above records the project’s latest review of this statement, not a full independent audit of every generated page.
