These terms set the boundary for using CalcSpan and its reference calculations.
Agreement and operator
By using CalcSpan, you agree to these terms. “CalcSpan,” “we” and “the operator” refer to the CalcSpan project operator reachable at [email protected]. The site does not currently state a separate registered legal-entity name or postal address; these terms do not invent one.
Reference service only
CalcSpan provides general calculation and planning references. It is not medical, legal, tax, financial, immigration, safety or other professional advice; it is not an official agency record; and it is not an emergency service. Verify consequential decisions with the responsible authority, current source or qualified professional.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for checking inputs, assumptions, jurisdiction, counting conventions, source dates and outputs before relying on or sharing a result. Do not use the site for unlawful activity, interference, automated abuse, attempts to bypass security controls or access to data that is not yours.
Availability and accuracy
The operator aims to keep calculations and source trails accurate but does not promise that every page is complete, current, error-free or suitable for a particular purpose. Features may change, be corrected, be limited or become unavailable. Where law permits, the service is provided as available and without warranties that are not expressly stated here.
Local data and exports
Saved calculators, My Spans records and generated files are stored or created in your browser as described in the privacy notice. You are responsible for device access, backups, exported-file contents and anything you choose to send to a calendar provider or another person.
Third-party services and links
CalcSpan may link to official sources or, after the relevant action or consent, interact with providers such as calendar services, Cloudflare Turnstile and Google Analytics. Those services have their own terms and privacy practices. CalcSpan does not use session replay. A link or citation does not make the provider a CalcSpan partner or endorser.
Content and permitted use
You may use calculator results for personal or internal business purposes and link to public CalcSpan pages. Do not misrepresent CalcSpan content as official advice, remove source or limitation context when that would mislead, reproduce the service at scale, or use its branding in a way that implies endorsement. Rights in third-party sources remain with their owners.
Liability boundary
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the operator is not responsible for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from reliance on a calculation, an unavailable service, a third-party service or data you chose to export or share. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Region and disputes
The site is available online and does not publish an operator domicile or select an exclusive governing jurisdiction. Mandatory consumer and other laws may apply based on where you and the operator are legally located. Contact the operator first at [email protected]; this paragraph does not take away non-waivable local rights.
Changes
These terms may be updated when the service or its operating information changes. The effective date above identifies the current version. Continued use after an update means the current terms apply to that later use.
